Agricultural Robotics

I’m working with Stephen Nuske and others on machine vision systems that can count fruit in vineyards, orchards, and other crops. The information that our machine produces (below) shows areas of a field where lots of fruit is produced and areas where little fruit is produced. Growers have never had access to this type of data. Can we use this data to help the lower performing plants improve? Can we build robotic systems that precisely manage the crops based on this data?
