Robotic Infrastructure Modeling

I’m working with Sebastian Scherer and others on an aerial robot that can autonomously build 3D models of large¬†outdoor structures. My contribution to the project is in the robotic hardware, systems integration, path planning, and field testing. The video below shows a recent test of our system where the vehicle autonomously models a train bridge in Pittsburgh, PA.
